If you previously used a Postpaid (monthly plan) SIM card and later cancelled it, you can reactivate the same SIM directly from your BlueCosmo account—no need to order a new one.
This guide explains how reactivation works and when to contact support for help.
Reactivation Policy Overview
- Iridium Postpaid SIMs can be reactivated unlimited times at no cost to you.
- Iridium GO! Exec SIMs can also be reactivated unlimited times, free of charge.
- Inmarsat Postpaid SIMs can be reactivated unlimited times, but a $40 activation fee applies each time.
Important Notes:
- A new satellite phone number may be assigned upon reactivation. This is normal and cannot be guaranteed to stay the same.
- If your SIM does not appear under the Historical Services tab in your account:
- It may still be eligible for reactivation.
- Contact Customer Support, and we’ll help complete the process manually.
- Reactivated SIMs will be moved to your Active Services tab once the process is complete.
- Reactivations can take several minutes, and sometimes may take up to 3 business days.
How To Reactivate Your Postpaid SIM
- Log in to your account at Bluecosmo.com.
- In the My Account section, click on Manage Airtime Plans.
- Click on the Historical Services tab to view your previously cancelled/deactivated SIM cards.
- NOTE: If your SIM card is not showing, please contact the BlueCosmo Technical Support Team for reactivation availability.
- Find the SIM card number you'd like to reactivate in the list and click Reactivate.
- Follow the prompts to:
- Choose your Monthly Plan
- Add any extras (e.g., US +1 dedicated number).
- Once completed, click Add to Cart.
- Click on your Cart in the upper right corner of the website, and follow the standard Checkout Process to pay for the new plan and reactivation.
After Your Submit Your Reactivation
- The SIM will be moved to the Active Services tab.
- The status will show as:
- Processing → once reactivation begins.
- Active → when it’s ready to use.
- If reactivation is still processing after 3 business days, please contact Customer Support.
