You can cancel your Postpaid 'Monthly' plan at any time. Cancelling postpaid services deactivates your selected SIM card associated to the satellite service number. Prepaid plan SIM cards do not need to be cancelled.
IMPORTANT:
- Any remaining contract Term is charged in full upon cancellation. Active terms are listed in the 'Manage Airtime Plans' section under the 'Contract End Date' heading. If this shows a blank, there is no contract term remaining.
- In most cases, the service number associated to the SIM card is lost upon deactivation.
- Cancellations are manually processed by Customer Care agents within 3 business days. All cancellations will receive a follow up email from Customer Care when completed.
- Once a cancellation is processed, the SIM card submitted for cancellation will be Deactivated immediately, not at the end of the month or billing cycle.

Note: The ability to reactivate a deactivated SIM card is not guaranteed. Please see our Reactivation article above for further information.
Prepaid plan Cancellation/SIM Deactivation
Prepaid plans and SIM cards do not need to be cancelled or deactivated. The SIM card will simply be in Expired status once the minutes expire. If you have auto-refill enabled, you will need to disable auto-refill to prevent an automated refill from being processed.

Cancellation Instructions for Postpaid Services
- Login to your account at https://www.bluecosmo.com/customer/account/
- In the My Account section, click on Manage Airtime Plans.
- Under the 'Active Services' tab, select the checkbox for the satellite Service Number you'd like cancelled.
- Click the 'Start Cancellation Request' link:
NOTE: The 'Start Cancellation Request' link is always clickable even if no checkbox is selected. This allows you to populate service/SIM numbers manually.
- The Cancellation Request form will load. Fill out your Name and Email. Your Account Number and the service number you requested cancelled will be auto-populated, but double check all details. Select your reason for cancellation, and if Seasonal, please provide the approximate date you'd like services re-activated (note that we will NOT re-activate any services without confirmation).
- Check off all required acknowledgements (indicated with a star *).
- Click Submit. You will be taken to a confirmation page to indicate that your cancellation request has been submitted and is waiting to be processed.
- Once the cancellation is manually processed by one of our Customer Care agents, you will receive a follow up confirmation email.
IMPORTANT: Once you submit a cancellation request, your Manage Airtime Plan page will still list the requested Service Number in Active status. It will be removed from the list once your disconnection is processed. Please do not submit multiple cancellation requests for the same service number.
