If you experience unexpected behavior or settings issues with your Iridium Extreme®, performing a factory reset may help restore normal operation. A factory reset restores all phone settings to their default values, but your personal data and contacts remain saved.
Tip: Use a factory reset only after trying basic troubleshooting, such as restarting the phone or reseating the SIM card.
Performing a Factory Reset
From the main screen, press the Left Soft Key to open the Menu.
Use the Navigation Keys to highlight Setup, then press Select.
Scroll down to Reset to Defaults and press Select.
The screen will display Reset all phone settings?
Press the Left Soft Key to confirm Yes, or the Right Soft Key to cancel.
When the reset is complete, the display will show Phone settings reset.
Note: Your stored information, such as phonebook entries and messages, will not be deleted. However, customized settings like ringtones, time zone, and display preferences will return to factory defaults.
Best Practices
Write down or take note of any customized settings before resetting.
After the reset, verify your time zone, ringtone, and volume settings.
If issues persist after the reset, contact BlueCosmo or Roadpost Support for further assistance
