Iridium Extreme - Reset phone to English Language Option

If your Iridium Extreme® has been accidentally set to a language you don’t understand, you can quickly restore it to English by following a simple key sequence. These steps work even if you can’t read the current on-screen language.

Tip: Take your time between steps. The phone’s screen may take a second or two to update after each key press.

Resetting the Language to English

1. Power on the phone.

2. Press the Red Key (End Call) three times.

3. Press the Left Soft Key once.

4. Press the Down Arrow on the Navigation Key six times.

5. Press the Left Soft Key again.

6. Press the Down Arrow four times.

7. Press the Left Soft Key twice.

8. The English option appears at the top of the list. Press the Left Soft Key one final time to confirm the change.

Your phone will now display all menus and options in English.
