Resetting your Iridium GO! device can resolve various issues or help you start fresh.
Reasons to Reset your Iridium GO! Device
Here are the most common reasons you might choose to reset your Iridium GO!:
1. Connectivity Issues
- Can't connect to the Iridium network
- Dropped calls or failed message transmissions (if unresolved by other troubleshooting steps)
2. Device Malfunctions
- Frozen or unresponsive interface
- Display errors or odd behavior
- Failure to power on/off normally
3. Configuration Errors
- Problems with Wi-Fi settings or app pairing
- Issues caused by incorrect GPS or time settings
4. Forgotten Credentials or Admin Password
- If you’ve lost access to the admin panel or changed settings you can’t reverse, a factory reset will restore default login credentials.
5. Preparing for a New User
- If you’re handing the device to another person or deploying it in a new location, a reset clears personal or mission-specific settings.
