Iridium GO! exec - Inserting the SIM card

The Iridium GO! exec uses a dedicated Certus-100 SIM card that is linked to the device’s unique IMEI. Follow the steps below to insert the SIM card correctly.

Important

• The Iridium GO! exec uses a unique Certus-100 SIM card that works only with the GO! exec.

• This SIM is tied to the device IMEI and cannot be swapped between GO! exec units.

• No other Iridium SIM, including the original Iridium GO! SIM will work with the GO! exec.

Insert the SIM card

1. Confirm that you have a mini-SIM (2FF), which is the correct size for the Iridium GO! exec.

2. Open the SIM card flap on the side of the device. Position the SIM so the Iridium logo faces up and the metal contacts face downward.

3. Insert the SIM into the correct slot, following the alignment icon on the device.

4. Close the SIM flap securely.

Notes

• The GO! exec has two slots: one for the SIM card and one for a micro-SD card. Make sure you insert the SIM into the larger of the two slots.

• If the SIM does not slide in easily, remove it and check its orientation before trying again.
