Iridium GO! exec - Charging the battery

The Iridium GO! exec must be charged before first use. It ships in a battery-saving “Storage mode” and will only start up after being connected to a power source.

Important note

• Connect the device to an active USB charger before first use. This removes it from Storage mode.

• Turn on the device by holding the touch power button for two seconds or by raising the swivel antenna to the upright position.

How to charge

1. Plug in and fully charge the device before first use. With the supplied charger and cable, a full charge takes under three hours.

2. While charging, the LED will pulse blue. See the LED status appendix in the User Guide for more details.

3. Charging is complete when the LED turns solid blue.

Battery charging guidelines

• Charging is allowed only when the battery temperature is between 0°C (32°F) and 45°C (113°F).

• The supplied AC charger operates best in temperatures up to 25°C. At higher temperatures or under heavy load, charging may slow or stop.

• New batteries are not fully charged and may take additional time during first use.
