Where does Iridium GO! exec work?
Iridium GO! exec works anywhere on Earth with a clear view of the sky.
How can I tell if I have a clear view of the sky?
The internal swivel antenna must be upright and unobstructed. For best performance, the antenna should have visibility from about 8 degrees above the horizon in all directions. Tall buildings, dense trees, cliffs, or mountains can block satellite signals and reduce performance. Iridium satellites move across the sky, so an open view is critical.
How do I connect my phone to the Iridium GO! exec?
You can connect in two ways:
Option one is scanning the QR code. On the GO! exec device, open Settings, and select Show Wi-Fi access credentials. Open the Iridium GO! exec app on your phone and follow the prompts to scan the QR code.
Option two is a manual Wi-Fi connection. On your phone, open Wi-Fi settings and select the Iridium GO! exec network. Enter the password shown on the device. The default password is password.

Does Iridium GO! exec support SMS?
No. Standard SMS messaging is not supported. You can use messaging apps such as Iridium Chat, WhatsApp, WeChat, LINE, or Viber over a data connection.
Why does my phone say “No internet” when connected to GO! exec Wi-Fi?
This is normal when no satellite data session is active. Stay connected. Incoming calls and notifications will still work, and your phone will ring when a call comes in.
Does Iridium GO! exec support tracking or Quick GPS?
No. The device does not support tracking or Quick GPS. During an SOS event, the device displays GPS coordinates on screen so they can be relayed verbally if needed.
Can I use the Iridium GO! app with GO! exec?
No. Iridium GO! exec requires the Iridium GO! exec app, available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
How many users can connect at once?
Up to four devices can connect simultaneously using Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
What is Bluetooth used for?
Bluetooth is used to send notifications such as incoming calls, battery status and network alerts to the Iridium GO! exec app.
How do I remove the SIM card?
The SIM slot is spring-loaded. Press the SIM inward to release it. Only Iridium Certus SIMs paired to the device IMEI will work. SIMs cannot be swapped between GO! exec units.
Is Iridium GO! exec waterproof?
The device is water-resistant with an IP65 rating when all ports are closed.
Does the device ship fully charged?
The device ships with approximately 70 percent battery charge. To exit storage mode, you must connect it to a charger.
Can the device be exposed to dust or debris?
Yes. The IP65 rating protects against dust and dirt when all ports are closed.
What temperatures can the device operate in?
Operating range is −20°C to +50°C. Storage range is −20°C to +60°C. Battery charging range is 0°C to 45°C.
Do I need to use the protective cover?
The cover is recommended when operating in direct sunlight to reduce heat buildup, but it is not required.
What does the device weigh?
The Iridium GO! exec weighs approximately 1200 g or 2.64 lbs.
What is the Wi-Fi password?
The default Wi-Fi password is password. It is printed on the device label and shown in Settings under Wi-Fi credentials.
What is the default voicemail PIN?
The default voicemail PIN is 1234.
How do I share the device with others?
Share the screen PIN and admin PIN if enabled. Others can install the Iridium GO! exec app and connect to the device. Up to four devices can connect at once.
Where can I download the Iridium GO! exec app?
The app is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Search for Iridium GO! exec.
Can I use cellular data while connected to GO! exec?
GO! exec is intended for use outside cellular coverage. Cellular and Wi-Fi switching on phones can interfere with the connection, so staying in airplane mode with Wi-Fi enabled is recommended.
Is it normal for the device to feel warm?
Yes. The device may become warm during long calls or charging.
How do I update firmware?
Firmware updates are delivered through the Iridium GO! exec app. When available, follow the on-screen instructions.
Can I charge a phone from GO! exec?
Yes. A smart device can be charged using the USB-C power bank port while the device is powered on.
Can I make two calls at the same time?
Yes. Two calls can be active simultaneously, including device, app or SIP phone calls.
Do I need the app to make a call?
No. Calls can be made directly on the GO! exec device. The app is required only for calling from a smartphone.
Can I use voice and data at the same time?
Yes. Two calls and one data session can run at once, though call quality may be reduced.
What is the micro-SD slot used for?
It is used for manufacturing diagnostics only and does not provide storage.
Are Iridium GO! antennas compatible?
No. Antennas and adapters from the original Iridium GO! are not compatible with GO! exec.
Which phones and tablets are supported?
Most modern Android and Apple devices are supported. Check app store compatibility.
What standard apps are supported?
Supported apps include Iridium Chat, WhatsApp, Viber, LINE, Signal, Telegram, Twitter, Opera, Firefox, Venmo, Zelle, and Google Home. See Iridium GO! exec – Recommended Apps.
Are there custom apps?
Yes. Examples include OCENS OneMail, OnSat Mail, and PredictWind.
Will my existing Iridium SIM work?
No. GO! exec requires a Certus SIM provisioned specifically for the device.
Can I connect the Iridium GO! exec to an external antenna for use in a vehicle or building?

What is the warranty?
The device includes a one-year limited warranty from the date of purchase.

Can I browse the web?
Yes, via Wi-Fi or Ethernet, using low-bandwidth browsing only.
How do activity profiles work?
Profiles control what data is allowed over the satellite connection to reduce usage.
How do I manage data usage?
Select the correct activity profile and disconnect sessions when not in use. Data counters are approximate.
How do I check email?
Use the Iridium Mail app or OCENS OneMail for optimized email.
SOS
How do I configure SOS?

How do I trigger SOS?
You can trigger SOS from the physical button, the touchscreen or the app. Ensure a clear view of the sky.
Troubleshooting
My device won’t turn on
Connect it to a charger. If it still won’t start, contact support at customercare@bluecosmo.com.
Can I be locked out for incorrect PINs?
No. There is no lockout limit.
I forgot my admin PIN
To reset your Admin PIN, you must perform a hard reset on the device. This can be done by pressing and holding the reset button with a paperclip for 10 seconds (or until the device restarts).
Call failed – voice not provisioned
Ensure the device is registered to the network and has a clear view of the sky. Please wait for a few minutes and try again, or help restart the satellite module by flipping the internal antenna down, hitting cancel to stop the device from powering down, and flipping the antenna back up again.
The device won’t register after moving outdoors
Lower and raise the antenna to restart the satellite module. Doing so restarts the satellite module within the device and allows it to register on the Iridium network.
How do I find my phone number?
Once registered, go to Settings > Device Information. If unavailable, contact customercare@bluecosmo.com for further information.
