The Iridium Mail & Web service for the original Iridium GO! was discontinued on September 13, 2025. As a result, sending email using the Iridium Mail & Web app on Android is no longer supported.
Iridium GO! users should transition to a supported satellite-optimized email solution.
Service status
The Iridium Mail & Web application is no longer operational following the service shutdown. This applies to all platforms, including Android.
In addition, the Iridium Mail & Web app is not compatible with devices running Android 14 or later. Iridium has not provided a timeline for restoring compatibility or service.
Recommended alternative
For satellite-optimized email on Iridium GO!, we recommend OCENS OneMail, which is designed for low-bandwidth satellite connections and continues to be supported.

Historical reference
Before the service was discontinued, users could send and receive email through the Iridium Mail & Web app after registering for an Iridium email account. Since the service is no longer active, these features are no longer available.
