Iridium GO! - How To Check the Balance of your Iridium Prepaid Service

You can check the remaining balance on your Iridium prepaid service directly from your Iridium GO! using either a call or an SMS message. Balances are provided in Iridium voice minutes remaining.

If you are using an Iridium GO! prepaid plan, the available dial-up data minutes are calculated at two data minutes for every one voice minute. Example: If your balance shows 200 voice minutes, you have 400 dial-up data minutes available.

Check your balance by calling

1. From the home screen, select the Call icon.

2. Dial 2888, then press the green call button.

3. The automated system will announce your remaining voice minutes and the expiration date.

Check your balance by SMS

1. From the home screen, select the Message icon.

2. Create a new SMS message.

3. Enter 2888 in the To field and type 2888 in the message body.

4. Send the message.

5. You will receive an SMS reply showing your remaining voice minutes and expiration date.
