Iridium GO! - How To Remove/Disable a SIM PIN

You can disable the SIM lock on your Iridium GO! using the Iridium GO! app. The steps are slightly different depending on whether you are using an Android or an iOS device.

The default SIM PIN used in the steps below is 1111.

Android devices

1. Connect your Android device to the Iridium GO! Wi-Fi network.

2. Open the Iridium GO! app.

3. Log in using:
   Username: guest
   Password: guest

4. Select Submit.

5. When prompted for a PIN, enter 1111, then select OK.

6. Select Settings.

7. Scroll down and select Security.

8. Select Disable SIM lock.

9. Select Existing SIM PIN.

10. Enter 1111 when prompted, then select OK.

11. Press the back button on your Android device.

12. When prompted to save changes, select Save.

Apple iOS devices

1. Connect your iPhone or iPad to the Iridium GO! Wi-Fi network.

2. Open the Iridium GO! app.

3. Log in using:
   Username: guest
   Password: guest

4. When prompted for a PIN, enter 1111, then select OK.

5. Select Settings.

6. Select Security.

7. Select SIM Lock Status.

8. Select Disable SIM Lock.

9. Select Enter Number next to Existing SIM PIN.

10. Enter 1111.

11. Tap anywhere outside the on-screen keyboard to close it.

12. Select Save.

Once saved, the SIM lock will be disabled and the device will no longer prompt for the SIM PIN on startup.
