Step-by-Step: How To Make a Call

Go Outside:

- Go somewhere with a clear, unobstructed view of the sky.
- Stay away from buildings, fences, dense forests, and other obstructions.
- Extend the antenna and point the tip of the antenna at the sky.

Turn On the Phone:

- The screen will show Searching at first.
- Wait until the screen reads Registered and shows a solid 3-5 bars of signal.

Enter the Phone Number:

- Press and hold the 0 key until you see a + (plus) sign.
- Then, dial the country code and phone number. The country code for Canada and the USA is 1.
- Finally, press the green call button.

Example: Calling a U.S. Number
To dial the United States-based Iridium test phone number, you would:

Press and hold 0 until you see a +

Dial 1 (the country code for U.S./Canada)

Dial the full number: 4807525105
-
Your screen should show: +14807525105

Press the green call button.
