The Iridium GO! exec has a physical reset button located inside the SIM cover. You will need a small paper clip or pin to press the button through the small hole. You can also perform the factory reset via the Iridium GO! exec app or the device touchscreen UI.
Reboot/Reset
A reboot is the same as turning the device off/on again. It does not wipe or reset any saved settings.
Via physical reset button on exec device
Pressing the button for >1 second and release while the unit is powered on will force the unit to
reboot.
Factory Reset
After completing a factory reset all configurations (including Settings, Call History, ESP/SOS Configuration, Admin & Screen Lock PINs) will be deleted. The device will return to it's factory default settings.
Via physical reset button on exec device
Pressing the button for >10 seconds while the unit is powered on will force the unit to perform a factory reset. The unit will automatically shut down and then reboot. During rebooting it will show the following screen to indicate it is performing the factory reset.
Via exec device touchscreen UI or the Iridium GO! exec app:
Settings (gear icon) > Device Settings > Admin Settings > Erase All Settings and Data
IMPORTANT: Factory reset via the device UI or App will provide the option to place the Iridium GO! exec into storage mode after the factory reset when the option is selected. A charging cable will need to be connected to bring the device out of storage mode if this is selected! Do NOT enable this setting unless planning to place the unit into storage.
