How to Install the Iridium Extreme Battery

1. On the back of the phone, lift the D-ring latch and rotate it counterclockwise 90° to unlock the battery compartment.
2. Hold the D-ring upright. Insert the bottom of the battery first, making sure the pegs align with the slots in the compartment.
3. Secure the Battery. Press the top of the battery down so it sits flush with the phone.
4. Lock the Battery. Rotate the D-ring clockwise 90° to lock the battery in place, then fold the D-ring down into its stowed position. Make sure the battery is properly installed. If it’s not secure, the phone may lose power or turn off unexpectedly.

How to Remove the Iridium Extreme Battery

1. Lift the D-ring:
On the back of the phone, lift the D-ring latch and rotate it counterclockwise 90° to unlock the battery compartment.

2. Remove the Battery:
Starting from the top of the battery, gently lift it out of the compartment.

3. Stow the D-ring:
Once the battery is removed, rotate the D-ring clockwise 90° to return it to the locked position, and fold it down.
