The Iridium Extreme has two primary phonebooks:
My Phonebook

Editable by User: Users can create, edit, and delete entries directly on the phone.

Storage Capacity: Up to 100 entries.

Data Stored: Names, multiple phone numbers, email addresses, and notes.

Storage Location: Internal memory of the phone.
SIM Phonebook

Not Editable by User: Entries are typically pre-programmed.

Data Stored: Phone numbers and associated names.

Storage Location: Directly on the SIM card.
Accessing My Phonebook
- From the main phone screen, press the left soft key under Menu
- In the main menu use the navigation keys to highlight My Phonebook and then press the left soft key to select it.
New Phonebook Entry
From the My Phonebook menu:
- Select Options by pressing the left soft key.
- Use the navigation keys to highlight New and press the left soft key to select it.
- On the new entry screen use the navigation key to highlight the field you wish to edit
- Once you have entered the information press the left soft key to Save it
Note: When adding phone numbers, always remember to use full international dialing format:
Add 00 or + , then country code, then area code and phone number. For example, the Iridium test number would be: 0014807525105 or +14807525105.
Accessing Phonebook Entries
From the My Phonebook menu:
- Use the navigation keys to select a phonebook entry, use the left soft key to Select it
- This will pull up an option list
Call Place a phone call to this entry. If the entry has more than one assigned phone number an option list will appear. SMS Send a text message to this entry. If more than one number or e-mail address exists for the entry an options menu will appear. Edit Edit the entry's contact information. Delete Delete the entry from the phonebook. New Make a new phone book entry.
