Your Iridium Extreme® keeps a detailed call history so you can view recent calls and track call duration. Through the Call History menu, you can:
View recently dialed, received, and missed calls
Check call timers for tracking usage
Enable audible or on-screen timer alerts during calls
Tip: Regularly review your call timers to monitor airtime usage, especially if your plan includes limited minutes.
Accessing the Call History Menu
From the main screen, press the Left Soft Key to open Menu.
Use the Navigation Keys to scroll to Call History.
Press the Left Soft Key to Select.
Viewing Call Timers
Time of Last Call
Open the Call History menu.
Scroll to Call Meters and press Select.
Highlight Last Call Time and press Select.
The screen will display the duration of your most recent call.
Total Time for All Calls
Access Call History → Call Meters.
Highlight Total Call Time and press Select.
The screen will show the total duration of all calls since the last timer reset.
Lifetime Call Timer
Access Call History → Call Meters.
Highlight Lifetime Call Time and press Select.
The screen displays the total duration of all calls made during the phone’s lifetime.
Note: The Lifetime Call Timer cannot be reset.
Resetting All Call Timers
Access Call History → Call Meters.
Highlight Reset Call Timers and press Select.
When prompted, select Yes to reset or No to cancel.
The display will confirm Call Meters Reset.
In-Call Timer Display
The In-Call Timer shows the elapsed time on your phone screen during a call.
Access Call History → Call Meters → In-Call Display.
Choose one of the following:
Enable – shows the timer during calls.
Disable – hides the timer during calls.
Your choice will be saved automatically.
Audible Call Timers
Audible timers make your phone beep during a call to remind you of the elapsed time. You can set either a single alert or repetitive alerts at specific intervals.
Access Call History → Call Meters → Audible Timers.
Choose one of the following:
Single Alert – plays one beep at a selected time.
Repetitive Alert – plays beeps at regular intervals.
Highlight the desired time or interval and press Select.
Tip: Audible alerts are heard only on your Iridium Extreme handset, not by the person you’re speaking with.
Viewing Recent Calls
Received Calls
Open the Call History menu.
Highlight Call Log and press Select.
Select Received Calls.
The screen displays your last 10 received calls with time and date details.
Missed Calls
Access Call History → Call Log.
Highlight Missed Calls and press Select.
The screen displays your most recent missed calls.
Dialed Calls
Access Call History → Call Log.
Highlight Dialed Calls and press Select.
The screen displays your last 10 dialed calls.
Note: Each list (Dialed, Received, Missed) can store up to 10 entries. Older calls are replaced as new ones occur.
Best Practices
Review your call logs regularly to track activity and signal quality.
Use Audible Timers to monitor airtime while on a call.
Remember that Lifetime Timer data cannot be cleared or reset.
