Iridium Extreme - How To Use the Speaker Phone And Adjust the Volume

To use the Speakerphone:

1. While a call is in progress, press the left soft key for Options.
2. Use the 2-way Navi-key to scroll down to Speaker.
3. Press the left soft key for Select to activate the speakerphone.

To switch back to the earpiece:

1. Press the left soft key for Options again.
2. Scroll to Ear using the 2-way Navi-key.
3. Press the left soft key for Select.

You can adjust the speaker volume during a call or through the Volume and Tones option under the Setup menu.

1. To increase the volume:
   • Press the upper volume control key while on a call.
   • As you adjust, you'll hear the new volume level, and the display will show a bar graph indicating the current volume — the higher the graph, the louder the volume.
   • Once satisfied, press OK to confirm. To cancel changes, press Back.
2. To decrease the volume:
   • Press the lower volume control key while on a call.
   • The volume level will adjust, and you’ll hear the change in real-time, with the display graph updating accordingly.
