How do I locate the country code for a phone number?

Each country (and satellite phone provider) will have a country code.  When dialing out from a satellite phone dial + then the country code,  then the rest of the phone number.

Satellite Phone and North American Country Codes:

The country code for Iridium is 8816

The country code for Inmarsat is 870

The country code for Canada is 1

The country code for the United States is 1

The country code for Mexico is 52
